Chief News 2 is a daily show that is part of Osceola Middle School’s award winning Television Production program. The show is a student produced news program featuring student life and school wide announcements and accomplishments. These students receive hands-on-experience with digital television equipment as well as showcase their talents, which include reporting, writing, and editing. Students will work together on their own stories to be featured in county and state competitions. Ms. Baquero is the teacher for Chief News 2.

• Won 4 EMAs at the 2009 Educational Media Awards
• Won 11 EMAs and Best of Show at the 2010 Educational Media Awards
• 3rd Place in the state at the Jim Harbin State Film Festival
• Won 14 EMAs at the 2011 Educational Media Awards
• 1st Place in the 2011 Anti-Bullying Public Service Announcement for Crime Stoppers of Pinellas County
