Dwayne Shepherd was born in Clarksville, Tennessee and graduated from Austin Peay State University with a major in Art and a minor in Psychology. Mr. Shepherd moved to Florida in 1996 and has worked at OMS since 2003. He is also a professional artist; he paints in all media and his favorite style is Impressionism. Mr. Shepherd was nominated Teacher of the Year in 2005, 2007 and 2009. He currently serves as President of the Pinellas Art Education Association.
